Cellists for Change is a purpose-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit that empowers youth through music.

We work to achieve our mission through three programs:

Local Youth Scholarships

Provides comprehensive, equitable and inspiring music instruction to Black, Latine and Indigenous youth in the greater Boulder, Colorado area.

Growing Cello Repertoire

Supports the commission and youth premieres of new pieces that amplify and celebrate the voices of Composers of Color, women, and LGBTQIA+ artists.

Music Transcends Borders

Nurtures an international collaborative partnership with Escuela de Cuerdas, a school of music and artistic cultural center in the Western Highlands of Guatemala.
